The rich one.
Where Open Sky is a light oil that vanishes, this is a proper crème: whipped, thick, and built on five oils. Tamanu and avocado for density, borage for its GLA, shea for body, jojoba infused first with eyebright, lemon balm, oat straw, lavender and rosemary. Aloe and rosewater carry the water side, orange wax holds it all together.
Over that sit the essences. Cape chamomile and blue tansy for coolness, rose otto, frankincense, carrot seed.
Eye skin is thin and makes almost no oil of its own, and by our forties most of us notice. This is for that. It sinks in rather than sitting on top, and it goes under makeup without pilling, which is not true of every rich eye crème.
A very small amount is the whole application. The 15ml jar will last months.
Serum or crème
Open Sky is cooling and light, better in summer and under makeup in a hurry. All Seeing is dense and nourishing, better at night and better for dry skin. A dab of the crème with a drop of the serum patted over it is the version most people land on.
On very dry skin the crème works across the whole face, not only the eyes.
Who it's for
Dry, thin or crepey skin around the eyes. Skin that has stopped responding to a light gel. Anyone in air conditioning all day.
How to use it
A small amount on the ring finger, warmed briefly, then patted along the orbital bone. Press, don't drag. Morning, night, or both.
Keep it out of the eye itself. Clean, dry fingers each time, since this one carries water.
Kept in the fridge it goes on cool, which some people prefer in summer.
Ingredients
Aloe barbadensis (Aloe Vera), Rosa damascena (Rose Hydrosol), Simmondsia chinensis (Jojoba) infused with eyebright, lavender, lemon balm, oat straw and rosemary, Calophyllum inophyllum (Tamanu), Persea americana (Avocado), Borago officinalis (Borage), Butyrospermum parkii (Shea Butter), Citrus aurantium (Orange Wax), Eriocephalus punctulatus (Cape Chamomile), Tanacetum annuum (Blue Tansy), Rosa damascena (Rose Otto), Boswellia carterii (Frankincense), Daucus carota (Carrot Seed).
