Same idea as the Seabuckthorn Best Skin Ever, same jojoba and seabuckthorn at the heart of it, thickened with laurel wax and beeswax into a balm. It softens on contact with warm fingers and melts across the skin like butter. Turmeric goes in here too, which the oil doesn't have.
The balm is the better makeup remover of the two. It has enough substance to sit on a made-up face and dissolve what's there, and mascara comes away without scrubbing. Mixed with water it turns milky and rinses clean, or you can simply wipe it off with a damp cloth and leave it at that.
Balm or oil comes down to preference. The oil is faster and lighter. The balm gives you more control over how much you use, travels without spilling, and suits dry, wind-worn or chapped skin better. A jar of balm and a bottle of oil is not a redundant pairing, and plenty of people run both.

How to use it

If skin wants more afterwards, press in a little more balm, or a few drops of a Best Skin Ever or serum.
