Honey is a humectant, which means it pulls water toward itself and holds it there. Left on the skin for ten minutes it draws moisture into the surface and softens whatever has hardened on top of it. The three essences do the rest: frankincense for its resinous calm, Cape chamomile with its azulene coolness, immortelle for repair.
Living Libations source the honey from hives set among frankincense trees in Oman, raw and unfiltered, so the honey carries something of the tree the bees were working. Whether that's the reason it feels the way it does is anyone's guess, but it's an unusually good honey.
It comes off skin plumper and softer than it went on. Simple, and it works.
Who it's for
Skin that runs hot or reactive, and skin that feels dry and tight. Gentle enough for most people, including skin that can't tolerate acids or enzymes. Weekly, or more often if you like.

How to use it
Smooth over clean skin, face and neck, avoiding the eyes. Leave for five to fifteen minutes. Rinse with warm water.
It can also be used as a cleanser, massaged in and rinsed straight off.
To exfoliate, mix a little with Perfect Pearl Powder or Rosemary Reset before applying.
Clean, dry fingers or a spatula each time. Water in the jar is the enemy of raw honey.
