Living Libations Neroli Glow Polishing Crème Cleanser
A gentle polish.
The exfoliation comes from bamboo silica, milled fine enough that it reads as texture rather than grit. Bladderwrack seaweed sits alongside it, naturally mucilaginous, so the silica has something slippery to move through. It lifts dullness off the surface without the drag of a scrub.
Around that, a cleansing milk. Lavender and witch hazel hydrosols, both toning and cooling. Herbs infused in: burdock, hops, echinacea, plantain, dandelion. Jojoba and seabuckthorn to keep it from stripping. It rinses clean, which not every Living Libations cleanser does.
The scent is citrus. Neroli over blood orange and mandarin petitgrain, with palmarosa and a little turmeric behind it. Bright rather than sweet.
Who it’s for
Skin that has gone dull or rough. Congestion that sits at the surface. Anyone who wants a polish without acids.
Twice a week is enough for most skin. More than that and you’re working against the barrier rather than with it.
Polish or mask
This is the mechanical option, bamboo silica doing the work by touch. The Green Papaya + Lime Mask is the enzymatic one, fruit acids and enzymes doing it chemically. Different routes to the same place. Alternate them across a week, or pick whichever suits your skin. Don’t use both in one session.
How to use it
A small amount onto the fingertips, massaged into damp skin. Light circles over the face and neck, a minute at most. Let the silica do the work, not your hands.
Rinse with warm water, then finish with cold.
Twice a week, in place of your usual cleanse. Follow with a serum or crème while skin is still damp.
