Living Libations Sun Dew Vitamin D Crème 50ml

$109.00

A rich morning moisturiser, built around roses.

Rosewater, rosehip, rose wax and rose otto, four forms of the same flower, over a base of aloe and jojoba and shea. Seabuckthorn and sandalwood underneath. Then the warmer notes: ginger, turmeric, frankincense, immortelle, palmarosa. It smells like a glasshouse in the sun.

The crème also carries vitamin D3. Living Libations formulate it for skin that goes long stretches without much daylight, which is why it lands as a winter product in the northern hemisphere. Here it reads differently. Most of us spend our days indoors and our outdoor hours covered, and this is a good crème for skin that reflects that.

Where it earns its place is texture. Aloe and rosewater at the top of the list keep it from sitting heavy, but the shea gives it enough body to genuinely hold moisture through a day.

Who it's for

Dry or dull skin. Skin that feels tight by mid-morning, or has been through air conditioning and a long winter. It's a morning crème, though there's nothing stopping you using it at night.

How to use it

After cleansing, while skin is still damp, massage a small amount into the face and neck. Damp skin matters here, the crème works with the water rather than sealing dry skin over.

Follow with sunscreen. This is not one.
